Bedford Waterfront Floating Docks
The 2025 season will run from June until approximately November, weather dependent. Located at the end of Convoy Quay off Waterfront Drive, the approximate 100 feet of floating docks can accommodate vessels up to 60 feet, first come, first served.
In exchange for free daytime and overnight berthing this season, please inform Build Nova Scotia marina staff when you are using the dock. Once you pull up, you can contact staff at 902-229-2628 or marina@buildns.ca.
Please note the following guidelines:
- There are no reservations
- The maximum overnight stay is 2 nights in a row; the maximum daytime stay is 2 days in a row
- Boaters who fail to comply with the rules will be ticketed and may be moved at the owner’s expense
In 2024 Halifax Regional Municipality, along with its provincial and federal partners, announced a new environmentally friendly, high-speed ferry service project between Mill Cove and downtown Halifax. Planning is currently underway which will help shape potential future uses on the Bedford Waterfront.
