Interested in hosting your event on the Halifax Waterfront?

We welcome and host 100+ community groups and organizations annually to the Halifax Waterfront that contribute to the vibrancy and energy we all enjoy at the waters edge. Our Event Request online submission form is below. Please complete all relevant sections and our team will review your request and be in touch within 10 business days. If you have any additional information to share with our team, not captured here, please email BuildNS.Events@novascotia.ca.

Interested in hosting your event on Zwicker Wharf in Lunenburg, in Open Hearth Park in Sydney, or the Truro Exhibition Grounds?

Zwicker Wharf on the Lunenburg Waterfront offers a scenic seaside setting ideal for a wide range of events, including fitness classes, outdoor movie nights, and vibrant community markets.

Open Hearth Park in Sydney serves as a central gathering space for major community events such as Ribfest, Canada Day celebrations hosted by the Cape Breton Regional Municipality, and a variety of other locally organized programs and activities.

The Truro Exhibition Grounds has a long-standing tradition of hosting signature events like the Provincial Exhibition, the Truro Stampede, and numerous agricultural and community showcases. The venue is accepting event requests that meet a suitable timeline for effective planning and delivery. 

To submit an event request for any of these locations, please complete the online Event Request Form below. All submissions are reviewed by the events team, and you will receive a response within 10 business days.

Please note that insurance, permits and on-site meetings may be required if the request is approved.
