About
The Centre Square in Kentville acts as a community hub that welcomes everybody, while serving as a space for events and activations that bring people together. Through the Community-Led Placemaking Program, the Kentville Business Community is enhancing this space and its programming opportunities.
New public art, hand-painted planters, seating, and lighting contribute to a welcoming and comfortable atmosphere in Centre Square. With this enhanced space—both functionally and aesthetically—the town has welcomed a series of community programming and activations ranging from art sessions, drum circles, and community dining—bringing the space to life with something for everyone with the “Under the Gazebo” series presented by the Kentville Business Community.
