Community-Led Placemaking Program
About
The Rath Eastlink Community Centre was already a hub for community activity—from sports and events to a gathering place for the community of Truro-Colchester. This group’s Community-Led Placemaking Program project aims to bring a mobile, pop-up event centre that captures the spirit and utility of the Rath Eastlink Community Centre, while providing the mobility to bring its features to new spaces and connect with locals and visitors alike. This comes in the form of a fully equipped trailer sporting public seating, lighting, play equipment, and providing mobile vendor spaces.
This project is designed to broaden the reach of the Rath Eastlink Community Centre—bringing its activations and offerings throughout the region all year round to connect with rural communities in Colchester County.
