Community-Led Placemaking Program
ABOUT
Volunteers in Windsor, Nova Scotia came together to create a new, bright, and active space for the community. Wanting a vibrant place for people to connect and play, the Windsor Township Business Association worked with community members to reimagine a downtown outdoor basketball court as a multi-use gathering space. Volunteers painted the court bright colours, with matching public seating and a public piano—leading to a multi-use space promoting gathering and community connection.
