Thanksgiving on the Waterfront
Thanksgiving is a great weekend to get together with friends and family on the waterfront – and there’s a cornucopia of possibilities waiting for you along the Halifax Waterfront!
Head outside to meander and explore the 4km boardwalk and soak up some fresh sea salty air – there’s plenty to check out this weekend.

‘Friendsgiving’ at the Waterfront Warehouse in partnership with Garrison Brewing serves up an Atlantic Canada Bubble twist on a traditional Thanksgiving Dinner.
Ambassadors invites you to get out ON the water! Hop aboard a Harbour Hopper or check out the Fall Colours Sail from the deck of the Tall Ship Silva (PS. Rumour has it, there are ‘Ghost Cruises’ coming soon!) AND it’s last call to explore Georges Island National Historic Site – a few seats left for Oct 11th !
Murphy’s on the Water is serving up savour dishes and the Gift Shop is bursting with great gift ideas (50% off too!) – maybe you’ll get some Christmas shopping done.
Meet your friends at the edge of the water and consider getting out on a seadoo with the Harbour Watercraft Tours & Adventures to explore the harbour, or stay landside on a scooter with Segway Nova Scotia.
