Renovations were completed at the Hants Community Hospital in Windsor. As part of the project, an unused operating room was renovated and rendered functional, and the in-service operating room was improved through renovations. The project made it possible for the hospital to do 800 more surgeries in Windsor per year – nearly doubling the annual number of procedures.
Hants Community Hospital includes an emergency department, inpatient care, a long-term care facility, mental health team, general and orthopedic surgery programs, and several specialty clinics (obstetrics, gynecology, pediatrics, hematology).
