Deloitte Value for Money Assessment

In support of the HIEP Project Development Report on our website, we have also provided the Deloitte Final Value for Money (VFM) Assessment for added transparency for Nova Scotia taxpayers. It has been reviewed for commercially sensitive information in accordance with the Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act. The assessment shows the VFM is $1.08 billion, or 19.34%, less than the Province’s traditional delivery approach of managing construction. The final VFM supersedes previous interim reports and could not be developed until after Commercial close was achieved in February.
