Exploring New Business Development Opportunities on Lunenburg’s Working Waterfront

July 2025—Build Nova Scotia is seeking potential operators for the Zwicker & Co. Warehouse (Zwicker Building) and the Mill Building as part of its continued management of provincial properties on Lunenburg’s Working Waterfront.

These Business Development Opportunities (BDOs) are designed to support and enhance the long-term vision for an active, year-round sustainable working waterfront—one that benefits locals, visitors, and the broader provincial economy.

While the Zwicker Building is ideally positioned to support ocean technology and marine innovation, Build Nova Scotia welcomes all proposals that align with the community’s goals and contribute to a vibrant, productive waterfront. Access and conditions for marine dependent uses and marine service supply chain will be key for the Mill Building. All options are open for consideration for operators that share a desire to enhance this waterfront and participate in the community.
