New Business Development Opportunities – Marine-Based Tour Operators, Halifax Waterfront
September 2025 — Build Nova Scotia is seeking marine-based tour operators to deliver excursion experiences that showcase the best of Halifax Harbour and Nova Scotia for residents and visitors alike.
Two Business Development Opportunities (BDOs) are available:
Small Tour Operator — For operators offering intimate, high-quality excursions that highlight the vibrant and active waterfront. This opportunity focuses on connecting with visitors through authentic, engaging experiences.
Large Tour Operator — For operators able to accommodate larger groups, providing an accessible and memorable way to experience the harbour while contributing to Nova Scotia’s growing marine tourism sector.
These opportunities invite operators to play a role in showcasing Canada’s ocean playground while engaging with the millions of people who visit the Halifax Waterfront each year.

Small Tour Operator: Friday, September 26, 2025, at 10 a.m. in front of the Wave (Sackville Landing).
Large Tour Operator: Friday, September 26, 2025, at 9 a.m. in front of Cows Ice Cream (1751 Lower Water Street, Cable Plaza).
